Sheridan Smith may have made her last appearance in Gavin & Stacey over 10 years ago, but there’s one particular scene she’s still got down perfectly.
The actor played Smithy’s sister Rudi in the BBC sitcom, with the characters memorably teaming up to perform the rap from Estelle and Kanye West’s hit American Boy during one episode.
Sheridan was seen reprising her part of their duet on TikTok over the weekend, in a video shared by TV production worker Honor Cantrell.
Honor was also more than a match for James Corden, who originally starred in the scene with Sheridan.

Now compare it to the original...
Sheridan, who was previously in an on-off relationship with Gavin & Stacey co-creator and star James, spoke last year of her wish to be involved in the Christmas special, which reunited the cast 10 years after the sitcom wrapped up.
Asked if she would be appearing during an interview on Zoe Ball’s Radio 2 show, she said last summer: “I wish. No, I’m not going to be in it. I don’t think, anyway. I could do my rap again. I love it.”
Rob Brydon, who plays Uncle Bryn, recently explained why he believes a big screen adaptation would “be a mistake”.
Speaking to Digital Spy, he said: “It’s not a film. It’s not a cinema thing. It is what it is, and I don’t hold film over television.
“There’s sometimes an assumption that if it were to become a film it would somehow be elevating itself, and I think that’s a misnomer. I think that’s a mistake.
