Shirley Ballas' Loved-Up Adoration Of Boyfriend Danny Taylor Is Relationship Goals

The Strictly judge met the actor when they starred together in panto last year.

Shirley Ballas has opened up about her relationship with boyfriend Danny Taylor - and we’re living for just how loved-up the Strictly Come Dancing judge is.

Shirley met the actor and producer when they both starred in panto together last year, and has now described him as “the one”.

Speaking to Hello!, Shirley also revealed she has already met Danny’s parents.

“I just love that man,” she gushes. “I just want to sit there all day and stare at him. He is The One.

“We have a lot in common and we laugh all the time.

“He is part of the reason why I readjusted my life. Danny is just so magnificently special. I have met his parents and everybody likes each other. That’s a plus.”

The 59-year-old star has recently relocated to the UK from LA, admitting she didn’t have many friends across the pond.

“When I got the Strictly job it made sense to come back to England,” Shirley explains.

“It was quite difficult to commute back and forth, and I really wanted to build my charity work. I simply can’t do that if I am on the other side of the world.”

She adds: “When I moved to LA I was single and didn’t want to be on my own. But everyone goes on to have their own life. In the end I thought I might as well base myself here. Plus, I have many friends here.

“I didn’t overly have friends in LA. I would work and come home and watch television. I don’t think I have watched television since I have come back. I have got a new man and Strictly and my mother. I think I am going to be much happier here.”

Last week Shirley revealed she’s considering removing her breast implants, over concerns that they might affect future mammogram exams.

The dancer learned about her family’s history of cancer during her appearance on Who Do You Think You Are?, telling the Sunday Times that this has made her think more about her own health.

“I’ve had breast augmentation,” she told the newspaper. “It makes me take a step back and think when you go for these mammograms: ‘Can you see at the back? Is it clear what you can see?’

“It’s making me sit back and think: ‘Shall I remove them? Would it be a good safety precaution for me?’”

She also revealed she’s already consulted with a doctor in Liverpool to see what is the “best route healthwise”, should she go ahead with having her implants removed.
