A man in his 40s has been stabbed to death in south London, Scotland Yard said.
The man was found on Clapham Park Road, close to Clapham Common tube station and despite the attempts of ambulance staff he died at the scene.
In a statement, the Met Police said: “Police were called at 14:37hrs on Friday, 29 March following reports of a stabbing on Clapham Park Road, close to Clapham Common tube station.
“Officers attended with London Ambulance Service colleagues. A man aged in his 40s was found suffering from stab wounds.
“Despite the efforts of paramedics he sadly died at the scene.The victim’s next of kin have not yet been informed.”
No arrests have yet been made.
