A 15-year-old boy and 21-year-old man have been left fighting for their lives in hospital after two separate knife attacks on Friday.
Three people were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after the teenager was found with multiple stab wounds on Willan Road, in Tottenham’s Broadwater Farm estate at around 11.15am yesterday.
A fourth was arrested on Saturday afternoon.
The victim remains in critical condition in hospital following the attack, which police officers believe to have been linked to an earlier altercation and potentially involving a suspect riding a bike.
Following the arrests, police are looking to speak to members of the public who gave first aid to the young victim at the scene.
Detective Inspector Paul Ridley, of North Area CID, urged those with any information relating to the attack to contact the police.
He said: “If you know anything about the circumstances surrounding the incident or if you witnessed it, please do come forward.
“I would also appeal to the members of the public who valiantly administered crucial first aid to the victim to come forward to my investigation team.
“You can speak with my team or remain anonymous by speaking to Crimestoppers, either way is fine, but please do the right thing, make the call.”

Just hours later another knife attack, this time in South London, left a 21-year-old in a critical condition.
Police were called shortly before 5.30pm yesterday afternoon after the victim was found with a stab wound in Croydon High Street, reports the Evening Standard.
He is currently in a life-threatening condition, and police have said they believe his phone and watch to have also been stolen during the incident.
Three men have been arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of GBH.
