Stacey Solomon doesn’t enjoy being pregnant, and she’s not afraid to tell us.

The 29-year-old, who is expecting her third child – and her first with boyfriend Joe Swash – discussed the struggles she’s had in the past few months.

“There are some women who love being pregnant… I don’t feel like that,” Solomon told Fabulous magazine.

Explaining that she had been “horrifically sick”, the mum added: “Obviously I’m grateful and I wouldn’t want anyone to think I’m not elated, but I’m not in love with being pregnant.”

“I’m just trying to enjoy it while I’m awake, which isn’t a lot,” Solomon said. “Joe says it’s like I’ve been in a coma for months.”

When we asked HuffPost UK readers how they felt about pregnancy, it seems Solomon isn’t the only one who hates it.

Bloody hated it. Nevet doing it again!

I was sick for nine months and felt hungover the whole time, so did not enjoy the
experience at all. Hence why I have only had one child!

Enjoyed it with my first two. My last two I hated it. I’m older now, it took its toll on my body, and last two pregnancies had complications.

During the interview, the TV presenter also shared her boyfriend’s reaction to finding out her pregnancy news. Solomon showed him the positive test and he laughed, saying: “Are you joking, but I haven’t seen you in ages!”

Solomon said they were conscious it was what they wanted, but weren’t specifically looking at a time for it to happen, “so it was a really lovely surprise”.

The couple revealed the news back in February. “I’ve been driving myself mad thinking that she’s bored senseless of me and can’t stand to be awake for longer than 10 minutes of my company,” Swash wrote at the time.

“So you can imagine my delight to find out that she still loves me and my company very much she’s just been growing a baby.”
