Davina McCall Is Bringing Back 'Streetmate' With The Help Of First Dates' Fred Sirieix

We are so ready for this.

Davina McCall is set to front a new version of her dating show ‘Streetmate’.

The presenter is bringing back the Channel 4 hit for a one-off special for Stand Up To Cancer later this month, as revealed by Digital Spy.

First Dates’ maitre d’ Fred Sirieix will also be involved in the programme this time around, who will look after the contestants after Davina has trawled the streets to find them love.

‘Streetmate’ originally aired for three series from 1998 to 2001 with Davina at the helm, before Holly Willoughby brought it back for four episodes on ITV2 in 2007.

The special is among a number of shows featuring in Channel 4’s Stand Up To Cancer night on Friday 21 October.

Michelle Keegan, Sara Cox and Rio Ferdinand are among the celebrities taking on the Aztec, Medieval, Futuristic and Industrial zones, before facing the fans in the iconic Crystal Dome.

Gogglebox’ is also hosting another of its celebrity specials, which see famous faces passing comment on the week’s TV from their sofas.

This year’s line up has yet to be announced, but previous editions have seen the likes of Geri Halliwell, Jamie Dornan, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Noel Gallagher taking part.
