Ben Cohen has spoken out, after becoming the victim of a hack which saw sexually explicit photos of him posted on the internet.
Intimate pictures of the former rugby player was posted online last week, which he’s now confirmed were taken when he was still single, before getting together with current partner, Kristina Rihanoff.
A spokesperson for Ben has told the Daily Star: “A number of historical images of Ben, which are of a private nature and which were taken whilst he was single, were recently posted online.
“The matter is now in the hands of his lawyers and Ben and Kristina remain in a happy relationship.”
Ben and his ex-wife, Abby Blayney, were married for more than a decade until they announced their split in 2014, shortly after he finished in eighth place in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
During his time on the show, Ben was partnered with professional dancer Kristina Rihanoff, who would later become his girlfriend, with the two have repeatedly having to speak out against rumours that they got together while he was still a contestant on the show.
Earlier this year, while Kristina was still a housemate in this January’s series of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’, she announced that she was pregnant with Ben’s child.
She gave birth to their daughter, who they named Milena, over the summer.
Ben also has twin daughters with his ex-wife, Isabelle and Harriet.
He isn’t the only celebrity to have personal photos shared online recently, though, with former ‘Coronation Street’ winner Shayne Ward and ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ winner James Hill falling victim to a similar incident last month.
