Anyone hoping Danny Mac will be blessing us with a shirtless performance on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ will be disappointed to learn he’s already told producers he won’t be getting his torso out.
In past years, contestants like Ben Cohen, Harry Judd and Ashley Taylor-Dawson have set ‘Strictly’ viewers’ pulses raises by showing some skin on the dance floor.
However, Danny has insisted that he won’t be following suit, revealing he’s had to stand his ground when show bosses suggested a shirtless routine, insisting he wants to “maintain his dignity”.
He told The Mirror: “I’m weary of just stripping my kit off - I’m there to dance.
Indeed, keeping his top on hasn’t exactly hindered Danny in the competition so far, as he and professional partner Oti Mabuse are currently at the top of the leaderboard, having received their first 10s of the contest in last week’s show.
They’ll be performing an Argentine Tango in Saturday’s (12 November) show, the same dance for which competitor Louise Redknapp got a near-perfect score last week.
