Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe is fast becoming everyone’s favourite professional – and if you saw Sunday night’s results show, you’ll understand why.
The dancer absolutely turned it out as he took centre stage in the latest group routine.
The show-stopping number was set around a fashion show, but also took inspiration from New York’s drag ball scene, with Johannes snapping his custom-made ‘Pose’ fan and high-kicking his way down the runway in a pair of heels.
A collective ‘Yaaasss’ could be heard across the Twittersphere as he slayed his way down the red carpet
And then viewers clocked his heels and everyone’s appreciation reached new heights
Then there was disbelief that it took producers a whole year to promote Johannes to the main pro line-up
While some didn’t see the point of continuing with this year’s series, considering Johannes had already won it
Johannes later said he was overwhelmed with all the love he’d received on Twitter about the routine.
He tweeted: “Just opened Twitter! My poor heart I cannot deal! Thanks a million… Oh what a time to be alive!”
After joining the show ahead of the 2018 series, Johannes stepped up to receive his first celebrity partner earlier this year, dancing with Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley.
So far in the competition, the pair have stayed around the middle of the leaderboard for their routines together, with Saturday’s episode seeing them bag 28 points for their Tango set to Annie Lennox’s Little Bird.
This week, they will take on a Halloween-themed routine, as the show holds its annual spooktacular on Saturday, airing at 6.35pm on BBC One.
