The seventh contestant on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing line-up has been announced as CBBC presenter Karim Zeroual.
Since Monday, the celebrities taking part in Strictly later this year have slowly been announced, with Karim the latest star revealed.
Revealing his excitement, Karim has pledged to throw himself into the Strictly experience, vowing he wants “THE LOT… the skimpiest of clothes, the widest of flares, the brightest of colours and the tallest Cuban heel a guy can find!”
He added: “The more flamboyant the better… sequins galore please!!”
Karim is best known for his work on CBBC, having been a regular presenter with the children’s network since 2014.
He’s currently working on the kids’ sports documentary A Week To Beat The World, in which he and three young people have travelled the globe to play the national sports of countries including Japan and Guatemala.
A former child star, Karim started performing on the West End in productions like The Lion King and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
We’re now almost at the halfway point of the Strictly celebrity announcements, with those already confirmed including BBC Breakfast star Mike Bushell and former Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldsley.
Also on the line-up are comedian Chris Ramsey, YouTuber Saffron Barker, former footballer David James and soap star Emma Barton.
Among those rumoured include Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing, broadcaster Anneka Rice and Atomic Kitten singer Natasha Hamilton.
