Stacey uploaded a picture of a model in a half body cast, alongside the caption: “Current sitch.”

She then posted some pained emojis, including a facepalm and a bandaged face.

Many of her followers left concerned comments asking if she was OK, but she is yet to respond.

It remains unclear exactly what Stacey has managed to do to herself or if she will still perform with partner Kevin Clifton on Saturday.

HuffPost UK has contacted reps for ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and Stacey for clarification, and is awaiting responses.

Last weekend saw Stacey and Kevin perform a Tango to the ‘Doctor Who’ theme music as part of the annual Halloween special.

The pair managed to pick up an impressive 35 points out of a possible 40 for their dance, which also saw them briefly swap gender roles, with Stacey taking the lead at one point during the performance.

They didn’t quite do enough to land themselves at the top of the leaderboard, though, with that honour going to both Ashley Roberts and Faye Tozer.

Both stars scored 39 points on Saturday, after Ashley and partner performed a troll-inspired Charleston, and Faye and her pro Giovanni Pernice made ‘Strictly’ history, with the first-ever Theatre Jazz routine.

However, the biggest talking point of the evening though was not what was going on on the floor, but what Nicole Scherzinger muttered to host Tess Daly during a particularly awkward live link.

‘Strictly Come Dancing’ continues on Saturday at 7.05pm on BBC One.
