'Strictly Come Dancing': Seann Walsh Is Saved, As Vick Hope Is Sent Home By Judges

She failed to impress with her Cha Cha Cha, meaning Seann and Katya live to dance another week.

Vick Hope has become the fourth celebrity to be sent home from ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, after landing in the dance-off for the first time.

On Saturday night, Vick found herself at the bottom of the leaderboard when her Cha Cha Cha routine failed to impress the judging panel, scoring just 20 points of a possible 40.

Following this, she and partner Graziano Di Prima wound up in the bottom two, competing against comedian Seann Walsh and Katya Jones.

After both couples performed again, it was decided that Seann and Katya would be staying put for at least another week, with Vick’s ‘Strictly’ journey coming to an end.

She said: “I’ve had the time of my life so I want to thank everyone for being the best possible people I could spend all this time with. What in incredible team; the hair, the make-up, the clothes.

“Thank you for all of your guidance and the judging I appreciate it and of course, thank you Graz, you’ve been so patient with me and helped me so much, I’ve loved every last second of it so thank you.

Meanwhile Graziano, who is one of three new professional dancers on this year’s ‘Strictly’, and the only one to compete, added: “First of all I want to say thank you Vick because I know it’s been really tough and people know how hard you work all day plus eight hours with me and then sleep for three hours and then again every day. You did brilliantly and you are brilliant, thank you. You really make me proud day by day.”

Seann and Katya being saved is sure to raise eyebrows among some ‘Strictly’ fans, given the pair have rarely been out of the headlines ever since they were caught on camera kissing earlier this month.

The kiss was particularly noteworthy as Seann’s now-ex released a statement shortly afterwards, claiming he’d branded her a “psycho” when she questioned him on whether anything was going on between himself and Katya, particularly when he spent the evening with her on what was his then-girlfriend’s birthday.

Days later, Seann and Katya discussed the media furore on ‘It Takes Two’, with the comedian insisting that he was not the man that was being portrayed in the press.

‘Strictly Come Dancing’ continues with its annual Halloween special on Saturday night (27 October) at 7.50pm on BBC One.
