Taylor Swift’s Merchandise Features A Massive Typo… Or Is She Having The Last Laugh?

🤔

“Spelling is fun!” Taylor Swift declares midway through her latest single ME!.

Not a sentiment the designers of her latest merchandise are probably feeling right now, though.

Some not-so-eagle-eyed fans of the US singer who bought a limited edition shirt featuring lyrics from her latest hit have finally noticed a typo... in some cases, a month after buying it.

Okay so I’ve owned this for...oh a month...and just noticed this?! My excuse is I was just so damn excited for that heart confetti 😂 so @taylorswift13 and @taylornation13 what are you doing about this merch ? pic.twitter.com/uWDEJtzPiu

Haha I’ve had this Taylor Swift shirt for like a month & didn’t even notice the typo 😂 worst part? I spent like $55+ on a t shirt with a typo on it. SMH pic.twitter.com/xx122gNWQj

EXCUSE ME! I've had this shirt for nearly a month and you're telling me it's had a typo THIS WHOLE TIME!! pic.twitter.com/8P9p6BPMuV

Seriously, does Taylor have to do everything herself? She is, after all, a former Spelling Bee champ.

However, this is Swifty we’re talking about, and so it’s highly plausible that the typo is actually a clue planted by the singer hinting at new music, or secret performances.

YOUR’E.
But let’s be real, @taylorswift13 always knows what she’s doing. This has to be an Easter egg. @taylornation13 pic.twitter.com/6pTBAMer2x

It’s not a typo, it’s a clue 🕵🏻♂️🧩🍭🦋👀 @taylornation13 @taylorswift13

And the plot thickens further because the typo isn’t printed on all of the shirts sold as part of the limited-edition release (which are now sold out, sorry).
