Heads up fashion peoples. The New York Timesreports the one-lensed eyepiece aka the monocle is the latest must-have accessory.
All the really, REALLY hipster guys are wearing them, sales are way up and when teamed with a good ol' tartan shirt, tassel loafer and leather satchel - the monocle looks pretty cool.

The publication spoke to British trend forecaster, Martin Raymond, who said: "All of this is part of a sense of irony and a way of discovering and displaying old artisanal and craft-based technology."
If it's happening stateside then guaranteed London trendsters will soon be on the case - and FYI the monocle is not just for the guys. If you're a lady who loves a forever-trend, this one's for you.
