There's Something Oddly Familiar About Theresa May's Confidence Vote Win

Maths geeks joined the comedy gods in pointing out the coincidence.

Theresa May secured a margin of victory in Wednesday evening’s Commons confidence poll of 19 votes – providing a strange coincidence when broken down in percentage terms.

Those blessed with quick maths skills were fast to highlight the vote produced a roughly 48:52 margin, the exact same result as the 2016 Brexit referendum.

People pointed out the incredible irony on Twitter.
