Snoring is sadly a fact of life and whether you’re a person who snores or has to sleep in the same bed as a snorer nobody comes out of it a winner.
Thankfully a Finnish company has come up with what it believes is the perfect solution.
It’s called the QuietOn Sleep and it’s a pair of tiny in-ear buds that use noise-cancelling technology to effectively silence your partner’s snoring.
These tiny earbuds have been developed by a team of ex-Nokia audio experts and are designed specifically with sleep in mind.
That means the earbuds are small enough so that even if you’re sleeping on your side you shouldn’t be able to feel them pushing into your ear.
Inside each earbud is an Active Noise Control system which means that it uses a contradictory sound to cancel out both itself and the sound of the snoring.
The end result being that the only thing you’ll hear is silence.
If of course you do want to hear what’s going on around you a simple tap on the side of the earbuds opens you back up to the outside world.
While these earbuds have been designed primarily with sleep in mind its designers also say that they can help cancel out other large environments such as tube trains, loud offices or even just a busy street.
They come with their own little charging case and can provide up to 20 hours of noice-cancelling per charge.
