When it comes to TV requirements, Nashville has everything we could want in a show.
Duelling divas. Family dramas. Political intrigue. Major diva tantrums. Awesome country music songs - and performances. Lots of sparkles. And big, big hair.
Those big personalities bring a lot of sass to the screen - especially when it comes to the show's two leading ladies, country music queen Rayna James (Connie Britton) and bubblegum country teen sensation Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere), who have plenty to say to each other and everyone else who wants to tell them what to do or how to live their lives.
Created by Callie Khouri of Thelma and Louise fame, Nashville brings America's country music scene to life, taking viewers through the city's most notable country destinations, from The Bluebird Café, which has housed some of country's biggest names to the Grand Ole Opry.
Catchy tunes also feature in every episode, through on-stage concerts, studio recordings and intimate songwriting sessions. In between all of the singing, there's plenty of feuding, secrets, drinking and love affairs to contend with.
If you've never had a chance to watch Nashville, or are running a season or two behind, now it's easier than ever to snuggle up on the sofa and have a marathon Nashville binge.
With NOW TV's Entertainment Pass, you can have access to the latest and best TV shows - and get your Nashville fix - for only £6.99 a month. The best part? It's easy to use, works on all of your devices and it's contract-free.

5. Rayna & Juliette's first encounter
Nashville begins with a very familiar-sounding showbiz premise: the reigning queen of country music, Rayna, is finding her star is on the wane and has been relegated to touring as the opening act for rising star Juliette Barnes, who is blowing up the country charts. You could say that Rayna isn't happy... but that would be the understatement of the century.
Things don't get any better when the two divas finally meet: despite Rayna's attempts to be friendly and positive, Juliette plunges the knife straight in, saying:
"My mama was one of your biggest fans. She said she'd listen to you while I was still in her belly."
But Rayna's no stranger to sass. Her retort?
"Well, bless your little heart. That is a charming story. You probably got to go on soon. I’m sure you’re going to want to make sure you got those girls tucked in there real good."
4. Rayna & Juliette's first duet
There's sass, and then there's sass times two. Every time Rayna and Juliette get on stage together, sparks fly.
Especially during their first performance in Season 1: after fighting about what kind of a song to perform (Rayna wanted an authentic ballad, Juliette was aiming for a crowd-pleaser that got everyone in the rafters), they finally came together for "Wrong Song," and it was spectacular.
Bonus sass points for the shorter-than-short, sparklier-than-sparkly dresses and va-va-voom hair.
3. Juliette & the $10K bottle of Champagne
One of Season 2's most entertaining story lines is the feud between Juliette and her sleazy manager, Jeff Fordham, who fires her from his label after she alienates her fan base, realises she's still a hot commodity and then aggressively tries to woo her back in all kinds of ways.
Like sending over a $10,000 bottle of Champagne to her dinner table. Instead of sending it back, Juliette has a better idea: slamming it down and watching it explode all over Jeff.
Can we learn this kind of fabulousness or do you have to be born with it?
2. Rayna smashing Deacon's guitar
While Rayna is usually calm, cool and collected, she also has her limits. The person who seems to push her to them better than anyone else is Deacon, the love of her life and soulmate.
In Season 3, Rayna and Deacon are finally together again, but their happiness is tested after Deacon is diagnosed with cancer. This time, Rayna is determined not to let him give up - even if it takes a good old-fashioned, guitar-throwing fit to keep him going.
1. Juliette's one-liners
Yep, pretty much all of them. For better or worse, Juliette marches to the beat of her own drummer.
One of Juliette's sassiest - and most memorable lines - comes from Season 2, episode 7, when Juliette is trying to protect star-on-the-rise Layla from a lecherous DJ and Layla tells her she can handle herself just fine.
"I guess nice just ain't my colour," says Juliette.
Best. Line. Ever.
