TransPennine Express Has Perfect Response To Passenger Who Complains About 'Man Wearing A Dress'

A train operating company had the perfect response to a passenger who complained about a “guy” sitting opposite him “wearing stockings and a dress”.

TransPennine Express received a tweet from passenger Gary Cocker on Thursday afternoon asking “what is that all about” after making the derogatory comments about his fellow commuter.

TransPennine Express responded: “Probably something to do with it being the 21st century now.

“As long as they have a ticket, everyone is welcome on our trains.”

TransPennine Express’s response it being shared widely online, with many people praising the train company’s comeback.
