Two Dead Following Light Aircraft Crash In Oxfordshire

Two people have died in a light aircraft crash in Oxfordshire.

Thames Valley Police said officers were called to the scene in Stonor, near Henley-on-Thames, following reports of an aircraft crashing into a field on Saturday at around 2:10pm

A police statement said: “Two people had been travelling on-board the aircraft. Sadly both the pilot and the passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. Their next of kin has been informed.

“No-one on the ground was injured.”

The fire service and ambulance service also attended the scene.

The Air Accidents Investigation Branch have also been informed and Thames Valley Police is assisting with the initial investigation.
