It's been a hectic few weeks here at Camp Visage. Our fourth studio album 'Hearts And Knives' was released in to the world last Monday and the second single 'Dreamer I Know' is out in a month! I've been hurtling at what feels like light speed down the press, radio and TV trail, doing interviews, seeing old friends, meeting new faces and generally making the most of this exciting situation.
The response from our fans has been overwhelming, on Twitter, Facebook and in person.
I can't thank you enough. The band and I have been busy rehearsing for the first full Visage show in nearly 20 years. It's going to be an intimate affair at the Hoxton Bar & Grill in East London on June the 5th and I personally cannot wait!
We've been practicing a wide repertoire from across the albums, including some favourites like 'Fade To Grey' and 'Anvil' plus, of course, a selection of our brand new creations including our first single in 29 years, 'Shameless Fashion'.
Supporting us on the night we've got an enigmatic young band called Haraket, a group born out of the arty hubbub currently rising in Peckham, south London. They've got a unique sound, they're different, and it's a contrast I think our fans will enjoy.
Getting back into the rehearsal room has been an invigorating experience for me. The feeling of it all coming together, all the energies fusing, brought back many beloved memories. I know this experience is going to create many new ones too. Steve Barnacle's bass playing is just superb and with Robin Simon on guitars, I feel like the proceedings are in safe hands. Did I mention the gorgeous Lauren Duvall? Her vocals are just something else. She's got to be seen and heard to be believed.
In the coming weeks we'll be announcing a further run of shows across the UK so keep an eye on our social media sites for all the news. It would be great to see you all out on tour! xxxxxxxxx
