Victoria Beckham learned the hard way that you should never work with kids or animals after trying to stage a family Christmas card.
Posh shared a behind-the-scenes look at the chaos that ensued as she tried to gather her four kids Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper together for a festive family snap.
In the hilarious video Victoria shared on Instagram, she is heard being a typical mum as she asks shorts-wearing son Brooklyn if “he’s sure” he doesn’t want to put a pair of trousers on for the snap, before trying to get her three energetic dogs to sit still.
“It’s a Christmas card, guys! This is meant to be a nice thing to do,” an exasperated-sounding Posh can be heard saying.
“Why is this so difficult?” she says, before letting out some “fa-la-la-la-las” as she finally gets her snap.
“The making of… never work with kids or animals!!” she captioned the video.
Her famous followers certainly enjoyed it, with her fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton commenting: “Laughed out loud!!!”
Reese Witherspoon also said: “This is MY LIFE !!!”
In the end, it seems Victoria lost the dogs for the final photo, with the chosen option she shared on Instagram just featuring the four kids.
She later shared a festive snap of husband David too, as he met Santa Claus at a socially-distanced grotto.
David was seen sporting a reindeer face mask and dangling a pair of jingle bells, in reference to his ‘Golden Balls’ nickname.
“Golden Bells met Santa tonight in a very festive mask!” she wrote.
Victoria recently discussed how the Beckham clan would be spending Christmas this year.
Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine earlier this month, she said: “As much as lockdown has been hard for everyone, it’s just been great spending time together as a family.
“I don’t know who is more excited, the kids or whether it’s David. He gets very, very excited. We have had Christmas music playing in the Beckham house for a month and a half.”
