For those who are truly befuddled right now, we'll put you out of your misery.
To solve the puzzle, you need to use a basic mathematical rule known as BODMAS according to YouTube channel 'MindYourDecision'.
This stands for: brackets, others, division and multiplication, addition and subtraction.
To figure out the equation, you must follow the BODMAS rule and begin by dividing three by one third. The answer of which is nine.
You then subtract nine from nine and add one, which means the correct answer to the equation is one.
Now go forth and impress your friends with your BODMAS-filled knowledge.
