Man’s Glorious Walrus Impression During TV News Interview Is Ridiculously Deadpan

“Suddenly I heard 'euargghhh, euargghhh'".

A walrus being spotted off the Irish coast is a pretty exciting sight, but try telling that to the guy being interviewed by RTÉ News about it.

Anthony Fitzgerald has become a bit of an overnight sensation after he appeared on the news programme to talk about the marine mammal’s rare appearance on Valentia Island off the west coast of Ireland.

The creature, which is thought to have travelled all the way from the Arctic, inspired Anthony to share his own unique impression of it with viewers…

This has: Old guy making walrus sounds. An adorable family with 3 ginger children, an exasperated mom who’s “in the doldrums from the Covid” & her surly red-headed teen, & another old guy saying the walrus was here chasing a female. It seriously https://t.co/MQyjlbtAEj.ALL.

He's fantastic! Although the poor walrus seems bored of it. Bet he's been trying to communicate with the poor thing all day.
