Wild Leopard Injures Four People In India

Four people were injured as a wild leopard tried to escape the rangers trying to remove him from a town in northern Punjab. The animal had strayed into the residential area and alarmed residents called authorities to remove it. Incidents between animals and people are rising in India as people move increasingly into the natural habitats of wild animals and even inside reserves. The injures were not life-threatening.
