Woman Injured In Pavilion Mall During Black Friday Sale

Paramedics have confirmed that a stampede has resulted in a shopper being injured at Pavilion Mall in Durban, News24 reported on Friday.

Social media posts showed chaotic scenes at malls, with problems in parking, incredibly long queues and online stores' websites crashing.

South African shops have recently taken to having a Black Friday sales to coincide with the United States shopping phenomenon, which takes place the day after the Thanksgiving holiday.
