Former ‘X Factor’ contestant Ivy Grace Paredes has revealed the real reason she was forced to withdraw from the competition.
Viewers of the ITV talent show were told the singer pulled out of the upcoming Judges’ Houses episodes after encountering “visa issues”, which prevented her from travelling to mentor Sharon Osbourne’s house in the US.
Ivy Grace has now offered a more detailed explanation of the matter, claiming she messed up her application.
Speaking to Gulf News, she said: “When I first applied for the US visa, the US embassy officer found out that I had worked as a professional artist in the Philippines and in the UAE.
She added she had “cried everything out” following her exit, and had also been invited to audition for the show next year.
‘X Factor’ bosses have confirmed Honey G will replace Ivy Grace at Judges’ Houses, after she was dumped by Sharon during the Six Chair Challenge.
The remaining contestants will battle it out for a place in the live shows this Saturday and Sunday at 8pm on ITV.
