Eliminated ‘X Factor’ duo Bratavio have laid into their mentor, Louis Walsh, claiming he left them feeling “deflated” and like he had “no faith” in them with comments he made behind the scenes.
The pair lasted just one week in this series’ live shows, becoming the first act to be sent home in Sunday’s (9 October) results show, following an enthusiastic rendition of the emotional tearjerker, ‘Boom Boom Boom Boom’.
However, they aren’t exactly full of praise for Louis, telling Digital Spy: “Louis Walsh didn’t even say goodbye to us.”
“He told us he thought we were going. He said to 5 After Midnight they would be fine, but he said we’d be going home. We were just so deflated. He had no faith in us... that wasn’t needed when we were just about to go on. There’s no need to say that – it makes you think it was already being pre-done, pre-selected.”
This week’s Motown-themed live shows will see a new addition to Louis’ groups category, following the news that girl group 4 Of Diamonds are returning.
They’ll be filling a slot left open when twins Brooks Way were axed from the competition, just hours before this weekend’s first live show.
‘X Factor’ returns on Saturday (15 October) at 8pm on ITV.
