Over the last 12 series, the ‘X Factor‘ live stage has played host to a whopping 1,194 performances (yes, we’ve counted them) as 155 finalists have battled it out to be crowned show champions.
And among that huge number have been a handful of real gems, thanks to contestants such as Little Mix, Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke, Fleur East, One Direction, Olly Murs and Ella Henderson putting on a real show.
So to celebrate ‘The X Factor’ going live, we have conducted some very scientific research (aka a straw poll in the HuffPost UK office) to compile the 20 greatest performances of all time.
