The Queen’s granddaughter Zara Tindall is expecting her second child with her husband Mike Tindall.
A representative confirmed the news on Wednesday 30 November and said the couple are thrilled. They are already parents to three-year-old Mia.
Their second child, due in spring 2017, will be the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh’s sixth great grandchild.
“The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh and members of the Royal Family are delighted with the news,” a spokesman said, according to The Telegraph.
The Tindall’s new arrival will be Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s second cousin. Zara was named Prince George’s godmother in 2013 shortly after he was born.
The couple got engaged in December 2010 and married in July 2011. They welcomed their first child in January 2014.
Congrats!
