Zayn Malik is set to lift the lid on his time in One Direction, by penning a tell-all autobiography, according to reports.
The signer has been busy focussing on his solo music career since quitting the group back in 2015, but new reports claim that he has something a little different planned next.
Obviously, one person who probably isn’t a big a fan of the plan is Simon Cowell, who voiced his distaste earlier this year when Zayn labelled 1D’s music as “generic as fuck”.
A source tells MailOnline: “This book is going to be explosive and Simon will be furious with Zayn and may even try to stop it coming out.
He may be just 23 but Zayn certainly has a lot to write about, including (obviously) his years in One Direction, which were pretty eventful towards the end.
Prior to quitting, the singer hit the headlines for the wrong reasons, when he was filmed smoking what Louis Tomlinson referred to as a “joint” on the way to a gig.
The book would also give him the chance to spill the beans on his split from Perrie Edwards, and claims that he was unfaithful.
