Welsh Autumn, Jimmy Saville, Private Education

All this Jimmy Saville press is making me feel very uneasy. I had a dinner with Alan, my new husband at Chequers just after Blair came to power and straight after the infamous No 10 cocktail Party. I was seated in between Mr Saville and Judy Dench.

the weather has turned nasty again....the weekend , full of reds, browns and orange contrasted so beautifully with the bright blue cloudless skies..but monday swept in cold and grey. I am busy with my monday routine of social networking with my assistant ....twitter capacity having gone up to over 50K we wonder where the upsurge came from and put it down to "something" in the ether....the World Wide Web going into overdrive..

In between catching up with Hootsuite I sneak out for a dressage lesson on my pony in the rain but come back refreshed and ready for the coffee on the Aga...back to work routine sets in and monday moves forward ..suddenly its 3pm.

My daughter started her new school today....lets just say it wasn't her decision and leave it at that.

We dropped her off at 8am to a Harry Potter-esque scene of spires and stained glass windows. A hidden secret world of learning and camaraderie set between the foreboding but spectacularly beautiful scenery of mid wales. Lets just hope she learns all her times tables there.

All this Jimmy Saville press is making me feel very uneasy. I had a dinner with Alan, my new husband at Chequers just after Blair came to power and straight after the infamous No 10 cocktail Party. I was seated in between Mr Saville and Judy Dench. During the first course...I think it was a nice Lobster Bisque I felt a hand run down my back, then settle at my neck.

On the"guided tour" of chequers by Cherie Blair ( and she definitely knew her stuff!) Mr Saville spent the next half and hour trying to touch me whenever he could. He must have been over 70 then and I was too embarrassed to say anything. I did find the entire evening pretty tortuous and was relieved when we could finally depart.

When I read the press about him my stomach turned.

Anyway onto more pleasant thoughts...My whippet puppy is now almost full-grown and although she has a soft spot for my husbands "natural" cholesterol tablets is pretty well behaved for a mad whippet...she lies curled up by the aga with the other dog and the rescue siamese cat all day in this rain. Lucky her!
