Every day millions of Brits look at their star signs to see what type of day lies ahead.
But did you know that your dog's personality is also influenced by their zodiac sign? Your dog could be an attention seeking Leo or a disobedient Aries.
Pet horoscopes work on the same principle as human astrology and use time, date and location of birth to create a natal chart.
Wendy Stacey, from the Astrological Association of Great Britain, says: "The natal chart, often called a birth chart, looks at the planets and their position in the signs.
"A chart can reveal a pet's likes and dislikes - and can even explain quirky character traits."
Wendy says her association has around 1,500 members. Increasing numbers of its experts now offer natal charts for animals.
Keen to find out what astrology can reveal about my own dog, I asked astrologer and dog lover Michele Knight to look at Tilly's horoscope. My dog was born on 18th July 2006 and is now eight-years-old.
Tilly's Horoscope
"Tilly's sun sign is Cancer, she has Sun in Cancer, which means she loves being at home and cuddling," explains Michele.
How true. My dog is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and her favourite thing is snuggling.
"The Moon in Aries means she can't hide her emotions," says Michele. "If Tilly gets moody change her walk for extra stimulation."
She adds: "A Rising Sign of Gemini makes Tilly a fantastic communicator. You will always know what Tilly is thinking or wants, she's very vocal."
Again, this information is spot on. Tilly has different barks for various things like "go outside for a wee bark" and "more biscuits bark".
Michele adds: "With Venus in Gemini she has a taste for the finer things in life. Venus in Gemini also shows she has a great capacity for love. But she always needs to know that you're giving her 100 per cent."
This all makes my heart melt because it's so true. Now I don't feel guilty about indulging my dog like a princess.

Demands attention and if ignored will become naughty. But if pampered will give affection back in bucket loads. Born leaders, they can be hard to discipline.
TAURUS DOGS (April 21 - May 21)
Likes good food and a comfy bed but can be lazy, you will struggle to shift them off the coach. Emotions can be hard to read, although their determination (if they want something) will be clear.
GEMINI DOGS (May 22 - June 21)
