The I'm A Celebrity star took over the mid-morning slot following Ken's departure after more than 30 years at the station.
He took over from Ken Bruce in the mid-morning slot in May.
A recent shake-up of Radio 2's schedule means Jeremy is now the station's longest-serving daytime host.
The legendary broadcaster left Radio 2 earlier this year after more than three decades at the station.
The former Radio 2 DJ has plans for his popular pop music quiz that go beyond just relaunching it on his new home on Greatest Hits Radio.
"Bad manners, lack of gratitude, lack of respect," Vanessa said of her former employer.
"Replacing PopMaster feels like when your parents divorce, and your mam brings home a new fella."
Farewell "one year out!"
The broadcaster – whose replacement Vernon Kay will not be on air until May – said he'd wanted to fulfil his contract to the end of March.
The TV presenter will reportedly take over from the broadcasting veteran following the news that he would be stepping down after 31 years at the station.
