About Britain's Got Talent
Britain's Got Talent 2017, given the magnitude of last year's contestants, looks set to be the competition's biggest year yet. Amanda Holden is returning to the panel, after appearing on every series of BGT, while Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Simon Cowell make up the rest of this year's judges. Past winners of BGT have gone on to great things, such as 2014's winners Collabro, Diversity and Ashleigh and Pudsey, the show's first dog winner. George Sampson has gone on to have a successful acting career off the back of Britain's Got Talent, while Attraction now perform all over the world. It's not just about the champions, though, and the talent show has helped make stars of many of its former contestants, most notably Susan Boyle, whose performance of 'I Dreamed A Dream' at the auditions in series three catapulted her to a household name all over the world overnight. Other memorable contestants from previous series include the likes of dancers Nico and Paddy, impressionist Francine Lewis, singer Calum Scott, comedy act Stavros Flatley. Last year, the likes of Beau Dermott, Boogie Storm and 100 Voices Of Gospel made it through the live shows, with magician Richard Jones triumphing in the final.
