The tech CEO literally jumped for joy while stumping for the former president in Pennsylvania over the weekend.
The news comes as the former president is set to return to the site of his July assassination attempt.
The former U.S. national security adviser also likened Trump to U.K. Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain, whose failed foreign policy benefitted Adolf Hitler.
The former president's "I'm not going to tell you what to do" admission drew backlash on social media.
"Sorry, it’s the first time I’m seeing that. That’s the weirdest promo I’ve ever seen," the CNN anchor said.
Unlike Trump, the former PM is celebrated in Ukraine for supporting them after Russia's invasion.
The Democratic campaign has been less focused on Trump’s election denial, but Trump inserts it into the news cycle all on his own.
Vance has repeatedly accused the media of being "obsessed" about an election Trump regularly brings up.
