Climate change activists used a fire engine to spray red paint at the front of the Treasury. They did end up losing control of the hose but afterwards, stood atop the fire engine with a banner reading "Stop Funding Climate Death"
A fire which engulfed a four-storey block of flats in Worcester Park is under control, the London Fire Brigade said. It took 25 fire engines and 125 firefighters to tackle the blaze. There are no reported injuries.
A total of 20 fire engines and some 125 firefighters were sent to the scene.
"It’s difficult to believe something happened again in the same area."
The fire raged through the night, with firefighters called to the unit just after midnight on Thursday.
"It looked quite impressive, quite an intense fire."
43-year-old held as firefighters tackled the “severe” blaze.
Two other people were hospitalised.
