Leaning Tower of Pisa
A team of scientists at the University of Exeter have carried out an “autopsy” on a famous giant fatberg. The 64-metre monster, longer in length than the Leaning Tower of Pisa, was discovered lurking under The Esplanade in Devon last year. Cooking fats and domestic hygiene products, such as sanitary towels and wet wipes, were found to have played a pivotal role in the fatberg’s creation, while bones and false teeth were also discovered in the mass.
