The House of Commons leader added that confidential legal advice on the Brexit deal will be published on Wednesday.
Parliament approved a motion of contempt of Parliament, which means the government now has to disclose the secret legal advice given for Brexit in full. Attorney Geoffrey Cox had presented a summary of advice to the House previously, saying full disclosure would not be in the public interest. Now the government will have to hand over the full legal advice.
This is the first time in history government ministers have been found guilty of the ancient offence.
