The countdown is officially on.
Many fans have long called for more LGBTQ representation on the ITV2 reality show.
"It will definitely be the Love Island viewers know and love,” one ITV exec promised.
"I’m staying very positive and I’m a strong girl," the reality star said.
The ITV reality show aired its first January series in 2020, but there's been a question mark over its future for some time.
The presenting couple have become parents for the first time.
The pair became fan favourites when they met on the third series of Love Island back in 2017.
The last two series of the ITV2 reality show were cancelled due to the Covid situation.
"It’s been hard to keep such happy news quiet," the presenter wrote on Instagram.
