Malibu
Two pilots flying over Malibu with low fuel and no hoisting equipment, decided to risk their lives to land in the thick of the California wildfires, saving three people and two dogs. The house was close to being engulfed by the flames of the Woolsey Fire. Over 1000 people remain unaccounted for as major fires spread over the region.
One blaze is just 12 miles from Thousand Oaks, where a mass shooting took place earlier this week.
