Meghan, Duchess of Sussex

Meghan Markle has visited New York City to visit friends and for a reported baby shower. The Duchess of Sussex wore all black and sunglasses as she travelled around the city. It was the first time she had been back in the US since marrying Prince Harry last year. Their baby is due sometime in Spring.
“I thought it would be an olive branch. Instead, it was a dagger to the heart.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex presented at the Endeavour Fund Awards, supporting the physical and mental recovery of injured servicemen and women. The fund was launched by The Royal Foundation, created by Prince William and Prince Harry in 2009.
The Duchess of Sussex laughed off the comments made while she was being introduced to pensioners who have benefited from Mayhew's animal therapy programme. Meghan has recently become patron of the charity, which helps improve the lives of cats and dogs in the UK and abroad.
Kensington Palace previously announced the couple were expecting a child in spring 2019.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Birkenhead on Monday where they spent time speaking with crowds of people and touring local charities. While at a women’s charity, Meghan said it was important for women to be supported by each other and men. She recently announced her patronage of a number of organisations, including one which helps women gain employment.
Meghan Markle is to become a royal patron for four organisations - one of them being the prestigious National Theatre. The Queen has held some of these positions for decades.
On her last royal engagement before Christmas, Meghan Markle visited a care home for former performers in South London.
