The first series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK has revealed the ten queens who will be competing for the crown. RuPaul said of the lineup, “Each of the UK queens is so unique, so courageous and so special. I can't wait for the UK - and the world - to fall in love with them the same way I did.” Drag Race UK begins in October and features a host of famous guest judges including Graham Norton, Alan Carr, Cheryl and Twiggy.
The first-ever British series is staying true to the US version when it launches on BBC Three in October.
Television presenter Anneka Rice is the 15th and final contestant announced for this year's Strictly Come Dancing. She will join, among others, Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing, RuPaul's Drag Race judge Michelle Visage, CBBC presenter Karim Zeroual and former Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley.
Former footballer David James, RuPaul's Drag Race judge Michelle Visage and reality star Jamie Laing have all signed up this year.
Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing is the latest celebrity to be confirmed as a contestant for this year's edition of BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing. The news was buried in a press release confirming Michelle for the BBC ballroom show.
