Speaking via a video William said the tips and advice offered by the Public Health England's Every Mind Matters programme were helpful to those experiencing "strange feelings and difficult circumstances" while in lockdown. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also spoke about the difficulties National Health Service workers face on the frontline and commended them in tackling the spread of coronavirus.
Prince William and Kate took part in a video call with children of key workers and their teachers at Casterton Primary Academy in Burnley. The couple were in high spirits as they laughed and joked with the pupils – and offered their thanks to teachers for keeping the school open for those that need it as the coronavirus pandemic continues.
