The singer claimed she was "angry and unwell" when she made the remarks, after experiencing Islamophobia following her conversion to the religion.
Singer Sinead O’Connor, most famous for her 1990 hit, ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ has converted to Islam. Announced on Twitter, she followed up with a video of herself on YouTube singing the Muslim call to prayer.
