Special Olympics
After initially struggling to learn to cycle due to disability, Kiera Byland’s life was changed when she visited the velodrome in Manchester with her dad. Now, the 21 year old is a Team GB star, winning several medals at the Special Olympic World Games in Abu Dhabi and hoping her success can show that anyone can achieve anything they put their mind to.
As a nation, we are moving in the right direction, but hope 2018 will be the year we see real, significant and meaningful change
