I signed up to a casting agency website a while ago. They advertised that they could get exclusive casting and auditions for anyone who signed up. So, like a sucker, I did. It was free.
Since then, the emails have been ridiculous. Lacking in grammar, opportunity and sheer common sense. There's no filters to the emails, so I've been approached for casting opportunities for a number of ridiculous items. Playing seven-year olds, grandparants and the occasional heavy-set African woman. An email popped up this morning with the subject "Hands". Intrigued, I thought I'd check it out.

Hi Bessie,
This has been a dream come true for me. People have always said how great my hands are. You asked for a photo of my hands. Sadly, I've only been able to take one photo as the other hand had to hold the camera. But, don't worry! My other hand looks like the hand in the photo (except the thumb is on the other side for some reason. Hope that's okay)
You asked me to include my name, number and photograph of hands. The photograph of my hand(s) is attached. Sadly, I haven't given my hands names yet, but am willing to do so if it means I get the job. I can assure you that the number of my hands is two.
I hope to hear back from you.

I'll let you know if I'm successful.
