Booster 1: Let go of the past

Give yourself permission right now to wave goodbye to any past events that have dented your confidence. Many of us have experienced events in life that may have tainted our self confidence, however there comes a time when you have to release these experiences. Let go, mentally draw a line, and move on holding your head high.

Booster 2: Learn to relax

Do something that helps you to relax. Anxiety poisons confidence so learning to relax is essential. For example consider using self hypnosis, meditation, or simply increase the amount of exercise currently undertaken so that you burn off anxiety and increase your endorphin levels. Once you feel more at ease with yourself, the more your confidence will shine. If you are suffering from anxiety then consider consulting a Clinical Hypnotherapist who will be able to help you get on top of it.

Booster 3: Police your language

Start policing the conversations you have with yourself. If they are negatively framed take action to make them much more positive. Our confidence is framed by what we tell ourselves, so police your language carefully.

We all have friends that have the odd moan; however if you have friends that do nothing but moan, then they are probably going to drain you. Ditch friends that grind you down and drain your zest for life.

Deliberately start walking tall and moving as if you are completely confident. The more you do this, the more you will be taking on the body language of a confident person.

Take time to observe people around you that ooze confidence. Then imagine you being like them. This will help programme you to be so much more confident.

Step out of your comfort zone so that you feel the 'ouch' factor. By doing this you will be proving to yourself that you are worthy of so much more. When completed, be sure to reward yourself and recognise how you have increased your self confidence.

Every day repeat the sentence 'I am calm, confident, and at ease with myself' over and over again. Remember, we are what we tell ourselves so be sure to make this your daily mantra. It will help to program a sense of confidence deep within your mind.

Booster 9: Learn something new

Take action to learn something new so that your knowledge base and talent increases, helping you to feel more valuable. Never stop learning!

If you don't like what you see in the mirror then invest in doing something about it. Whether it's a makeover, a new wardrobe, or a day with a personal stylist, make sure you treat yourself!
