Climate change protest group Extinction Rebellion have staged a protest outside the Brazillian Embassy in London. The group said it was standing in solidarity with the indigenous people of the Amazon who are increasingly under threat by illegal mining. The process is also incredibly destructive to the world’s largest rainforest, which is often called “the lungs of the earth”, as it produces 20 percent of the world’s oxygen.
The civil disobedience of climate change activists earlier this year brought London to a standstill. HuffPost UK catches up with some of those arrested.
